How to Apply for an apartment at The Cottages - Reserved Student Housing
Applying as a Group of 3 Students
Each student in your group must submit a separate application and pay a $250 application fee ($750 total for a group of three students).
If you complete the application online, you will be redirected upon submitting your information to our payment site. You will need to register an account to make your application fee payment using either your bank account, debit card or credit card.
If you print an application, you must include a check or money order and mail or deliver the application to our office.
Acceptance Process
Applications won’t be processed until all students in your group submit the application and pay the application fee.
If a unit is available at the time we receive your completed application, then we will notify your group via email that you have been accepted. Once you have been notified of your acceptance, you may not withdraw your application without forfeiting your application fee.
Your application fee will be credited toward the required total security deposit with the remaining $250 amount ($750 total for a group of three) due at the time your lease is signed.
Waiting List
If no units are available at the time your groups application is receieved, then we will notify your group via email that you have been placed on the active waiting list. Your application fee will be held until a unit is available or until you request in writing to withdraw your application and request a refund your application fee.
Applying as an Individual Student
If you don’t have roommates, try to find some current residents of The Cottages by using our Find A Roommate message board. Once you have, you will need to submit an application and pay a $250 application fee. If you complete the application online, you will be redirected upon submitting your information to our payment site. You will need to register an account to make your application fee payment using either your bank account, debit card or credit card.

Be sure to list the names of the current residents of The Cottages you would like to move-in with so we can verify with them. Once we do you, then we will notify your group via email that you have been accepted. Once you have been notified of your acceptance, you may not withdraw your application without forfeiting your application fee.

Please Note
If you choose to move-in with residents of The Cottages that already live in one of our apartments, we recommend that you meet them ahead of time and check out the apartment to make sure you are comfortable with them and how they keep the apartment. We only clean and paint our apartments before a complete new group of students move-in to an entire three bedroom apartment, otherwise it is up the residents to make it tidy and clean.
